NOLLYWOOD ACTOR, JUMOKE GEORGE BLASTS HER GENDERS OVER BBL
Popular Nollywood actor Jumoke George has tongue-lashed her genders over BBL Surgery. This was contained in a viral Video on Facebook where she expressed her disappointment in women who have put up with the mindset that only by butt-lifting alone, a woman looks beautiful.
She mentioned some of the side effects of the procedure, and also cited herself as an example of someone who is naturally butt-gifted, but finds it too heavy to pull around. She added that at some point in life the knees become too weak to bear the pressure of an enhanced butt, thereby becoming a regret for the bearer.
THE BBL
The current fashion in vogue among ladies both old and young across the world at the moment is BBL. The feelings of self-worth, confidence, and accomplishments in today's women are 100% attached to the BBL surgery.
Immediately any lady makes her first millions, her goal is to have the operation done at all costs. In most ladies' scale of preference, BBL comes first in spite of all the risks that come with it.
What is BBL?
BBL is an acronym derived from the Brazilian Butt Lift. It's a popular cosmetic surgical procedure that aims to enhance the shape and size of the buttocks.
During the procedure, fat is removed from another area of the body (typically the abdomen, thighs, or arms) through liposuction. The extracted fat is then purified and injected into the buttocks to create a more rounded, lifted, and shapely appearance.
The surgery is aimed at...
- Enhancing booty contours
- Improving proportions
- Boosting self-confidence
However, it's crucial to take the risks attached into consideration before embarking on the procedure, rather that regretting the irreversible decision later. Consulting a board-certified plastic surgeon to discuss risks, benefits, and individual suitability is important.
Even though BBL can be effective, it's important that whoever is going for it must not play down the potential risks and complications that come with it.
The risks of BBL Surgery can be divided into two major categories, they are;
The Immediate Risks/Complications:
1. Bleeding or hematoma
2. Infection (e.g., fat necrosis)
3. Scarring
4. Asymmetry or unevenness
5. Numbness or loss of sensation
6. Fluid accumulation (seroma)
The Long-term Risks:
1. Fat embolism (rare but life-threatening)
2. Scarring or keloid formation
3. Permanent nerve damage
4. Unsatisfactory results or need for revision
5. Fat absorption or loss of volume
6. Change in skin sensation or texture
In addition to the two major categories stated above, we also have the rare but serious complications like;
1. Pulmonary embolism
2. Cardiac arrest
3. Stroke
4. Organ damage
5. Death
Additionally, it is important to consider these other facts as they can increase complications.
- Smoking and obesity increase risks.
- Pregnancy or weight fluctuations can affect results.
- Unrealistic expectations may lead to dissatisfaction.
Women, think twice before you embark on the BBL journey. Consider the risks while exercising your right of boosting your self-confidence.
A word is enough for the wise!
