GONE TOO SOON, LADY EVANG. YEMI ADEOLA

Hmmmm Adeola, the last time we talked was over a year ago during my mother's 8-Day Fidau prayer, when you and your husband were there to honour me even though I wasn't physically present.

The News of your sudden demise was a big bang on my head at the earliest hour of Saturday 22nd June, 2024. I kept having a flash back of who you were to the entire broadcasting community.

Evangelist Adeola, you were a unique and outstanding Gospel artiste with an inimitable good character.

LATE EVANG. YEMI ADEOLA

You were down to heart, homely and very, very accommodating. No one is too small to receive your accolades while you were here.

You are beautiful inside-out, you feared God, and stood tall among your pairs. You will forever remain a soulmate to your ever supporting husband, both of you are always seen together come rain and Sunshine. You both are what we call "5 & 6" which has now become a '9' that has no magical '1' to make a '10' anymore.

Alas, the vacuum your death is leaving in us will no doubt be hard to fill.

Adeola, may I ask you some questions, even when I know that you won't give me any answers, not because you deliberately wish to disrespect me, but because you now commune with the Saints.

- Do you know how greatly you will be missed?

- Can you just imagine the confusion, sorrows, wailing, and sadness that fill the air at your demise?

- Do you realize the gravity of your loss to your immediate and extended families, friends and well wishers?

- Do you realize how much your children need your motherly care and support?

- Do you take into consideration how empty your husband will be forever?

- Do you even take into account how devastating your exit would be to your parents?

- Do you realize that your Band boys are confused at the moment?

Hmmmm, only the unquestionable God can answer all of these questions now.

We cry while you smile,

We cry because we will miss you a great deal,

You smile because you are now in a better place.

A place where there's no more sorrow,

A place where there's no more stress, pains and troubles.

A place where your voice has been harmonized with those of the Angels to praise your Maker.

A place where you can advocate for your children as "ABIYAMO ORUN".

The joy here is that you finished your project in Christ Jesus as a daughter of Zion, but only the earthly assignments are left unfinished. No one finishes that and you can never be an exception.

Evangelist Yemi Adeola, your impeccable character can make my pen flow endlessly as I am yet to comprehend your exit. But permit me to bid you farewell at this point by saying, "Olufe Sun're o" till we meet to part no more.
