FLYING WITHOUT VISA AND PASSPORT.

TGIF anyway, but "man pikin dey" too tired to explore the Downtown vibes on a Friday night. Signing out of my work from home system prematurely at about 7:00pm (EST), feeling tired and badly needed a rest, I took a dosage of a pain reliever and lay flat on my energy booster bed. Since everyone has a way or ways of gaining a quick sleep, one of mine is to catch up with updates on my social media News Feeds.

The first update I got was a post from one of the craziest Nigerian 'Slap-Eater' skit maker, the Iamtrinityguy from my Facebook page, and it got me thinking.

First and foremost, I have my reservations for skit makers in their excesses and breaches of fundamental human rights of the unsuspecting public. Many of them go scot-free with these excesses because it's happening in Nigeria, but luck wasn't smiling at Iamtrinityguy recently as one of his skits got him imprisoned.

Like the famous social media analyst/commentator, the #VeryDarkblackman always say; "you will learn the hard way". You all will agree with me that since our friend and skit maker Iamtrinityguy gained freedom, he has been trying to play by the rules. I believe he has learned a lesson.

Now, let's steer into why I sacrificed my sleep for writing at this time. It's all because his newly posted video got me pinned down and watching. In the skit, his triplet brother was going to catch a flight ✈️ to Canada, and he was jealous, and desperate to fly with him, even without any documents, no passport, no Visa. How is this possible? "Abi you dey wine me ni?"

Permit me to say that this is the best skit I have watched this outgoing year. Though, it's comic by concept to make us all laugh and get rid of all the stress from our hustling and bustling, but we still need to dig deep for the moral lessons as take aways from the skit.

Lesson #1: The seed you plant today determines your harvest tomorrow.

Your concepts determine your actuality, if you don't attempt to make a move, you can't get any further than the spot you are.

Sleeping and waking up in the palace will never put on you the royal accolades.

That you dine and wine with a King will never get you crowned as one. Guys, we need to put a plan forward, go through the required processes, fulfill all righteousness to get to the next level.

Lesson #2: Be curious, ask questions!

Don't be an island unto yourself, don't be a Mr/Miss Know All, ask questions, no one knows everything, we all know different things. If you feel too big to ask your next neighbour, then ask Google.

Lesson #3: Don't overload God, your destiny is in your own hand.

It's good to believe in God as a provider and the only one who answereth prayers. Verily! Verily!! That's who God is, He will water your soil and make your seeds grow wether you pray or not. He will make the Sun shines and the Moon brights wether you pray or you don't pray. The Lord will not cook your food for you, neither will He get a traveling passport or fill a Visa form for you.

If you like make the prayer mountain your bed, and a hard rock your pillow, then soak a puffy towel with your tears, nothing will change except you work the work. Prayer works after the work has been worked.

If you haven't watch the skit, I enjoined you all to visit @Iamtrinityguy Facebook page and learn something new. Don't forget to Like, Share, Comment & Follow him just as you will do unto us.

Keep the COMMENTS coming please. Till I come your way again, thank you!

Joge.
